Shirts will be available for purchase and proceeds will go to Making Strides locally here in Orlando. This years event will be on Oct 29th and its the 20th Anniversary of Making Strides.
The Fire Chief has authorized these T-Shirts to be worn during the month of October in support of the American Cancer Society Cancer Awareness. Personnel will be able to wear these T-Shirts on Friday - Sunday during October.
You can pay for the shirts via Paypal, Credit Card, and electronic bank draft. After you place your order an invoice will be sent to you after the order is processed. We will have a limited supply of childrens sizes and those will be available at a later time.
Orders will be processed within 24 hours, delivery may take 1 - 3 days.
Special delivery instructions will be required for anyone outside of the Orlando Fire Department.
A maximum of three (3) different shirt sizes per order will be submitted. If you would like to order additional sizes please complete another separate order. Most delivery will be to Fire Stations Locations and City Hall. If you want to make other arrangements please include those in the "Special Delivery Instructions"

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Predators Night
Come join the Orlando Predators for a night of celebration and support of MSABC June 24th.
Breast cancer survivors get complimentary tickets and family and friends receive discounted tickets to their game against Tampa Bay Storm on June 24. Proceeds go to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5k walk. Click here for all the details and how to purchase tickets.

Today was the last day of our own Pension Seminar for our
members. The seminars were developed by
your Pension Trustees and delivered by them and other representatives from
Nationwide and other investment companies.
There were also some sections covered by the Pension Coordinator from
All of the feedback we have received about these two seminars
has been very positive and long overdue.
We ae in the process of obtaining the video copy of today's meeting and
will be posting that soon on our site so you may view it as a refresher or if
you did not have an opportunity to attend one of the meeting you will still be
able to watch the seminar.

Locating Your Representatives in Tallahassee
Find your House of Representative that represents your District by clicking on the House of Representatives Seal to the left.
Locate the "tab" on the left upper side of the page "Find Your Legislator" and provide the address info requested and it will identify your legislator. This will take you to their home pages that will provide you information and e-mail links on how to contact your representative.
Find your State Senator that represents your District by clicking the State Senate Seal to the left.
After you reach these pages all you will have to do is provide your zip code and it will take you to your representative's home page. This page will list the names and contacts for their administrative staff & assistants as well as their e-mails.
Also remember some of these representative have "facebook" pages for all those who participate in "facebook" search them out and follow them there you can probably leave the same type of letters on that page as well for the rest of his constituents to see.
Make it a point to communicate with your representatives and provide them how you feel about some of the legislation they have introduced or support. Remember he should be representing you and others in his district, not his personal agenda.
